Presentation day 2

Tuesday was our second presentation day. By another 2 groups presenting we are halfway through the presentation. Teams that were chosen did not look as happy and say "why do we have to go today..." but I don't think anyone would be happy to not be given the chance to improve. The teams that presented were;

Akari, Urara, Takeshi's team
Anon, Honoka, Yukako's team

Regarding the first group, I really liked that they had images that match the idea they are talking about. They also kept a certain theme in terms of visual aid, which allowed us to know they are a "team", which I mean I think they had a good collaboration. However, one point that caught me was that I felt like they had memorized the whole script in their brain. In my case, referring to Mr.Paterson, I did decide on what to speak in what order, but not for word for word. As if we do this, it would not sound like we are communicating the audience. When they are stuck, they posed for a few moments to recover their memory before they started to speak so smoothly. I am not sure whether which is right, that is something I would like to know before we end with the topic.

Same with this group, I feel like they had a written script in mind. The good point was that they did have many images that made it easier for us to understand and had a clear flow, with a good attention grabber. It was something we could have done too. The improvement may to speak up a little more. The group members had a smaller voice, compared to the first group, making it partly difficult to understand for the audiences. Also, the time division was not very equal, which could be improved.

This week's presentation was the 4 groups that I had mentioned in the blog. Each group had their own "colour" and was very interesting to listen, although when my team presented I was about to faint because of nervousness. I am very much looking forward for next week.
