Presentation Day 3

Today's presenter was;

Kanae, Koharu, Shiho's team

Since in the period before, they had a computer problem, allowing only one group to present, in order to make it fair, for the other class, we only had one group presenting. This group was all dressed in the uniform making them look more formal and confident. By this group's presentation, we had moved onto the second half of the presentations. For this group, Mr.Paterson did not stop the Q&A session. I had noticed this before it ended, and was wondering why he did not do so. The reason was in the time that they spent. Their presentation was not spending enough time to the actual time being given. From their performance, I realized the importance of keeping the track of time whilst the presentation by either looking at the clock if there is one in your sight or keep a wristwatch with you to check and adjust time.

After the presentation, we were told about the filler words we are using far too much of. Mr.Paterson told us about an app which USED to be a very helpful one, that does not work in the present day. It was something where they count the filler words and point it out to you through statistics. I thought about using these for upcoming presentations in order to make them better. The homework for now is to look for such apps. I am planning to look for apps as such, hoping that I would find something that helps me out greatly.
