Tuesday was actually the real last preparation class day. We started off our work by first giving feedback and updating the information and changes we have made to the slides from the day before. By doing this, we were able to get a fresher memory of the overall flow of the presentation. Then we moved onto the actual presentation practice, were we re-recorded ourselves speaking "properly" because it was not on the day before. We have set ourselves the problem each person should focus on yesterday, and practised in the night, then came back today. This clearly showed the difference that it made me feel very surprised.
Calculating the overall time, we were about 15mins in total. However, thinking about the Quiz time we have in the presentation (in order to follow the segmentation theory) I guess the time will exactly be enough. One thing that worried me was the difference of given time to speak between each member. Especially having Momoko who joined this semester, it was clear that I was talking way more than she does. For this reason, us, as a group decided to bring in Momoko to speak some bits and pieces of information at the end too. This allowed us to divide up the time almost equally.
Speaking from the third person's point of view, I thought the overall flow is not bad. However, segmentation theory might be a little weak. We must think of the way to get the audiences involved in our presentation.
What we will be doing is checking the slides on the screen and see whether the pictures are all right, practice speaking, giving the last minute touch to the slides and most importantly to make our minds up to get the presentations started. Quite lots of things to do, and I am still very very nervous about this project but I am hoping that I can get my 100% power in the presentation.
