So, we got more time, in fact, 2 more classes until the actual presentation. We first video recorded ourselves speaking and gave feedback to each other. The thing that was commonly being done was eye contact. Most of the members, including me, were either looking at the ceiling or the floor or the screen, not much to the audience. I thought this could be fixed through practice, because the more we go through the presentation, the more we can get the flow and word choices into us. We then took some time to ask the questions and/or give some advice towards the presentation slides that we made. By doing this, we were able to understand in depth about each other's work, and the content, leading to build a group connection.
Hearing that we should not be making any scripts, I was not very surprised. A lot of people seemed to be surprised but mostly when we make scripts we must remember fully, or else just failures will appear in front of you. In the cases like this, where we do not have much time, we should make a simple notes listing up the points I must include in the presentation, that is short enough to memorize. This way, I won't have a complete form of what I am going to say, meaning I am allowed to feel a little free to the language I use. I am not sure if this is theoretically effective, however, speaking from my own experiences I am feeling it is a suitable way for me.
Until the assessed presentation, what we have got to do is to practice and improve the quality. Since we have been working on them for quite a while now with quite a lot of hard work, I definitely do not want to ruin them for that I did not practice as much. This is the reason why I know I will be focusing on this task more strictly as a lastest practice period.
