In the lesson on Monday, we had the last team's presentation and our feedback.
We first started off with the last team presenting. It was
Lana, Kaisei, and Yasuhiko's team.
Listening to their presentation, I came to know lots of information that was very new to me, so I believe in terms of content, they had a good point. However, their research was not done in depth and was unable to react and make a good response to some of the questions. This was something every group should have prepared, as long as there is a Q&A session. I believe their overall style and structure were well organized and easy to understand.
After their presentation, we were given the time for feedback. Our group presented second, therefore we had some time to reflect upon ourselves before Mr.Paterson gave us feedback. We mainly talked about how our gestures were not as good. Most of the members mentioned about the eye contact they could have made, and where their hands were, which also was something Mr.Paterson told us, including me. There were lots of things I feel I could have done better and was mentioned by my teammates and Mr.Paterson, but what I regret the most was the number of practices we had made altogether. Since we had only done 2-3 practices overall, we couldn't catch the movements and what each other are trying to do. Practices make presentations better. I would like to keep this in mind when preparing for presentations.
