On Tuesday 9th, we were told about the deadline for the "Presentation" project. Since we do feel like we are behind the schedule compared to the other groups, we may have to spend time individually at home creating the slides, as, at school, the computer does not connect to wifi very well not allowing us to work on them.
What I had learned today was something that was very new to me. It was about the animations and transitions taken into the presentation. Until before, I used to use "transitions" for the purpose of design. However, Mr.Paterson told us about the use of box slides, and sliding slides, which should attract the attention of the audiences. Our team will probably take this in since we thought it was a very cool idea. We have also decided about the final flow, and are ready to start creating the slides.
I am feeling nervous regarding our own presentation because it is a completely new style for me. To be familiar with them, I've come up with the idea to make the slides at home, then use the class time to rehearse. By doing this, we can be acknowledged about the content every person is going to talk about and the amount of time required for a speaker. Also, we are able to finalize and improve the idea. This means we can give feedback to each other, and have enough time to improve on the points. This way, we can work well with time, managing them properly. "Presentation" is something I am not very good with, but I believe I can get through them by practice and preparation.
