In Tuesday 26th lesson, I mainly focused on the essay. As I continued to look for the information, I started to realize that it is hard to write with a definitive evidence. This is because the untrustful media is whtat we are accessible with, and trying to find the “truthful” information out it was very difficult. I could have used those websites in which Mr.Paterson had introduced to us, but the news stories on it was quite limited, which did not allow me to get the information I wanted to cover. I actually am wondering how other people accessed the information they needed to get.
Regarding the group website, we created all the pages we needed to create, and are ready to start writing the informations in. The logo, was taken from a website that arranges the existing ones. We chose the “Keep calm” one because if we panick every time we see a fake news, we will not be able to find the truth behind the scenes. Also, we must have a calm viewpoint, meaning we must see the news from a fair point of view.
Overall, I actually am finding this task difficult, because the information I can access to is limited. Of course the media companies does not want to spill their own mistakes out into the whole load of media, it makes us deal with the difficulty. However, the google sites allowed me to get the whole idea of creative designs and how I can communicate my information to people more effectively. I am excited to see what kind of website will be presented as a final thing.
