Citing...

The lesson on Tuesday was the continuation of what we were doing since the last lesson. Mr.Paterson went around the groups to check what the classmates did not understand. Meanwhile, other people (like us) were citing the information on our essays.

To be honest, I wanted Mr.paterson to tell us that referencing is going to be important later on in the term when we were writing our essays because it is very difficult to find where the information came from since a long time had passed. I had to look into my references first to see what information is up there, then refer back to the essay to reference the information. It might have been even better if we learnt about Zotero and referencing before we wrote our essays because the style of writing, which we had learnt in term 1, could be fixed easily later, but things like referencing cannot. There might be a case where the information (the source) is updated, which will not give us the same information we had gotten earlier when we actually wrote the essay.

To sum up, the order of what we learn could be changed, because especially internet sources have a chance that the information is updated or the site itself is deleted. Also, if we were told this earlier, we could have been working more efficiently.
